Cynthia has revamped our church website! Please look at it, and let her know what you think, and if you have ideas or suggestions: trinityanglicanchurchbradford.ca The plan is to keep on top of all our news and events. If you have any photos of church events, Cynthia will be happy to have them for the website.
Bible and Faith Studies Groups – As mentioned in the July “News from the Pews” and in the Church Calendar above, there will be two adult Christian Education groups starting this fall. There will be two groups, one evening and one daytime. Both will include worship, fellowship and study. The plan is to alternate between bible study and more general faith discussion. The groups will start the week of September 19 and run for 5 weeks, then take a few week breaks and have another 5 weeks before Christmas. Based on the survey the two most popular topics were prayer and Anglican Identity and worship, so we will start there.
Evening Group: Tuesdays, September 19 to October 17, 7:30 – 9 pm, will be a bible study on Prayer. We will explore what the bible has to teach us and say about prayer.
Daytime Group: Thursdays, September 21 to October 19, 2 to 3:30 pm, will be Anglican Identity, our history and how that has shaped what we believe and do. This study involves some videos and multi-media, and discussion— your chance to learn from each other.
While you are encouraged to attend all five weeks of a particular study, they are formatted such that if you miss a week you can still participate. I am looking forward to learning and growing with you in our faith together. Rev. Dana

The Second Hand Shop has been open for four years now and growing! We have a
great variety of items at very affordable prices. Our volunteers in the shop
have come to know many people in the community and have become friends with
them! The store also reaches out into the Community. When there is a need for pyjamas or nightgowns at Bradford Valley we make sure they are taken care of. We are partners with “The Community Action Program for Children” and provide clothing for all ages free of charge. During the winter months we donate scarves, hats and sweaters to guests of the Community Meal at our Friday night dinners. We have a Community Meal team made up of members from our Church and other Churches within Bradford.
Donations are accepted as long as items are almost new, clean, no stains or rips. We accept pocket books and children’s books. Donations for the store of slightly used and very clean items are greatly appreciated!
Come in any time on a Thursday or Saturday morning and have a cup of tea with us!
Items we do not accept: We do not take electronics of any kind, stuffed animals, large pieces of furniture, used cosmetics or large hard covered books on travel, cooking, life skills etc.
