We will continue only live-streaming our Sunday services at 10 am on Facebook, as our region remains in lockdown. Once that restriction is lifted, we will then consider when to reopen for in-person worship.
On Sunday March 7, we will be welcoming via a recorded sermon, Bishop Riscylla Shaw who is the bishop overseeing our deanery at this time.
March 7 – 3rd Sunday in Lent: Exodus 20:1-17; John 2:13-22 (subject to change based Bishop Shaw’s sermon)
March 14 – 4th Sunday in Lent: Numbers 21:4-9; John 3:14-21
March 21 – 5th Sunday in Lent: Jeremiah 31:31-24; John 12:20-33
March 28 – The Sunday of the Passion, with Palms: Mark 11:1-11 (palms); Mark 14:1-15:47 (or Mark 15:1-47)
There will be services Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, Easter Vigil and Easter Sunday. Which, if any of those services will be in-person in addition to be online, will be determined based on current restrictions and what we feel is in the best interest of the parish and parishioners closer to that time and we will keep you updated.
Wednesday Morning Lenten Prayer
We have begun a weekly morning prayer on Wednesday mornings live on Facebook at 9 am. Each Wednesday morning Rev. Dana is live from the Rectory for a short, about 15-minutes, morning prayer service following the outline for Morning Prayer from Home that was part of a previous email. These morning services will continue through Lent, including the Wednesday of Holy Week. The videos remain available for viewing afterwards for about a week. Join Rev. Dana live or watch it later for a quiet time of prayer during Lent.
