Trinity Anglican Church, Bradford

faith filled friendly community church

“Sing-at-Home” hymn sing event

August 12, 19 and 26! Everyone is invited.

Three videos will be posted on Trinity’s Facebook, one on each of the 3 Wednesday evenings at 7:30 pm. Each evening will have 5 different hymns that have been popular in past hymn sings. As I play the hymns on our organ Barb, Bill or Ellen will sing the words (one singer each evening), and Stewart will do the recording. And you get to sing along at home! The hymns and dates are listed below. If you wish, you may dedicate any of the hymns that are listed in memory, thanksgiving, or celebration as you make a donation to Trinity Church in any amount. Every hymn sing donation will go direct to our church towards ongoing expenses while the church is closed. Each video will remain available online afterwards if you wish to replay them.

Wednesday, August 12: Breathe on Me, Breath of God,                                 Amazing Grace, What a Friend We Have in Jesus, All Things Bright and Beautiful (tune Royal Oak), Immortal, Invisible God Only Wise

Wednesday, August 19: Abide With Me, Jesus Shall Reign Where’er the Sun, Just as I Am, Onward Christian Soldiers, The Lord’s My Shepherd

Wednesday, August 26:    Holy, Holy, Holy; Guide Me, O Thou Great Jehovah, Fairest Lord Jesus, Rejoice, the Lord is King, This is My Father’s World

This is not our usual summer evening hymn sing, but I do hope you will take this opportunity to sing along at home. This will likely be one of our few fundraisers this year as we look for non-gathered fundraiser events to replace the traditional ones.
