In-person worship will resume Sunday, August 15. Online worship will continue on Facebook Live: www.facebook.com/trinitybradford/live/
What you Need to Know
To register to attend worship in-person: Click on or go to this Trinity specific page, rsvp.church Trinity Bradford You will see the list of services and spots available for each.
We ask you to self-screen. DO NOT COME if you are ill, for any reason, or if you suspect you may have been in contact with someone suspected or confirmed to have COVID.
Everyone is required to wear a mask or face cover (NOT a face shield) at all times when inside the building. If you have a valid medical reason for not wearing a mask, please speak to Rev. Dana about alternatives. When this requirement changes, we will let everyone know, but know you are also welcome to continue wearing a mask as you feel comfortable.
Entry is by the North Doors on James Street only. Upon entering the building, please sanitize your hands with the sanitizer that is inside the door. The doors will open at 9:40 am, and we would appreciate having everyone seated by 10 a.m., so the warden can go in and join the service as well. When you arrive, we ask that you lineup, maintaining social distancing while you wait to be checked-in at the desk that immediately is inside the Upper Room. One of the wardens or deputy wardens will be at the check-in desk to welcome you, and check your name(s) off the registered list. In the case of a non-registered person, if there is available space, their contact information will be recorded and included with the contact tracing log.
The collection plate will also be on the check-in table for you to leave your offering if you need to, since we cannot pass the plate during the service.
Once you are checked in, a sidesperson will offer you a bulletin and will seat you. There is a seating plan based on single, couples or family, that may slightly change week to week based on registrations. If you need or want a window seat just ask. When the service is over, please take your bulletin home or place it into the recycling bin by the hall doors.
Once you are seated, you are asked to remain in your pew until the end of the service. Please do not walk around or visit. The bathroom is only available for emergencies. If you use it, please use hand sanitizer before entering, and wipe down the toilet handle, taps, light switch and door handle with the wipes provided and sanitize your hands before re-entering the church.
The Air Conditioning will be on prior to the service, and we will have the windows open, but it may still be warm inside given that we are returning in the summer. We cannot use the air conditioning or fans to circulate air during the service, so please remember to dress appropriately for the heat. You are welcome to a bring a drink from a water bottle throughout the service.
We are still not using books, but the service will be projected on the screen and there will be a couple of one-time-use service booklets available if you cannot see the screen. There is also still no congregational singing. We have included some instrumental music but ask you not to sing along (as hard as that may be).
The service has been altered to minimize movement, including during the peace and to limit the time we are together indoors. As we did in the fall, we will administer communion after the final blessing, in the upper room as you are leaving. Instructions will be given during the service, and we will remind you of the steps as we go. It is one person or household at a time starting from the back, into the upper room following the marked “Xs” on the floor and only removing your mask to consume your wafer. Once you have received, please proceed up the hall and out the north door that you came in.
When you leave, you are asked not to congregate at or near the door or on the sidewalk, so as to block the passage of others. You may visit outside if you wish, but if you are closer then 6 feet, you may want to continue to wear your mask at this time.
We are looking forward to the next step on our worship journey together!
