Sunday School resumes September 19. We will be offering Sunday School the 1st and 3rd Sundays of each month, for children JK and up. Children will begin downstairs at this time and join families for communion. Elizabeth, our Sunday School teacher, has plans underway! Each child in attendance will have his or her own kit of craft materials each week, so that items will not be handled by others. Contact: Elizabeth Annand
Second Hand Shop
Due to COVID restrictions we will not be able to open the shop until after the new year. We are unable to comply with what is needed to open up at this time. We are saddened by this decision but it is for the best of all at this time. We will not be taking any donations until we reopen again. Thank-you all who have supported the shop which in turn has helped with the finances of our Church! I would like to also thank all our volunteers who have worked so hard to keep the shop in the past 9 years!
Hymn Sing Update
With recent donations coming in for the Hymn Sing, this event has now raised $2135 for our church. Thank-you so much for all the wonderful support! Margaret
In case you missed them, you can watch the hymn sings here!
Trinity’s Facebook page has been attracting hundreds of followers, some from afar, and some viewers have sent in donations. As mentioned before, you do not have to be a Facebook member to see our site. Anyone may look at it to see the worship services, hymn sing videos, church news and events, etc.
As part of ongoing maintenance and repairs, window frames and sills on the south side of the church have been repaired, primed and painted, and they look very nice! The woodwork required extensive preparation before painting.
A sincere thank-you to the volunteers who have kept the church lawns cut and trimmed all season long: Paul & Adam James and their helpers, Johnathon Logan, and Gary Gill.

If anyone asks about our cemetery, please share the above information. If further clarification is necessary please leave a voicemail on the answering machine of Trinity Anglican Church (905-775-2200).

September Finance Feature
Pre-authorized Giving is a convenient way to give offerings to the church. It is easy to arrange, and easy to change or cancel if circumstances change. Simply contact the treasurer by the 27th of the month for changes to take place the following month.
By choosing PAG your offering goes direct to the church each month whether or not you are present in person. No cheques to write, no cash to remember to bring, and even if you are away your offering is taken care of. PAG provides consistent income which helps the church to plan and keep up with regular expenses. Bonnie, our church treasurer, will be happy to answer questions or get you started. She may be reached by calling the church office, 905 775 2200.
Trinity’s cookbook will be ready this fall, in good time for Christmas gifting!
Yoga continues on Zoom, Saturdays at 10 am. $10 per class. Anyone interested may contact Art Holden, for Yogi George.
Reminder! If at some time you realize that you are no longer receiving the monthly “News from the Pews”, or Rev. Dana’s weekly greetings, remember to check your junk folder. They just might be in there! From time to time, any email could end up in the junk folder for no apparent reason.
